This important work was written for Winchester Cathedral. A glorious setting for mixed voices, the Winchester Te Deum has a real sense of ceremony. It is a bright and joyful work, and will make a make a fantastic addition to the choral repertory. Equally suitable for church and concert performance, it would pair successfully in a concert half with the Gloria, and provides perfect material for a festival evensong or occasional service. Two instrmental accompaniments are available on hire: Organ with brass ensemble (2 trumpets, horn, trombone, tuba, plus optional timpani and percussion), or full orchestra.
