Dieser Band enthält die sechs Sonaten für Querflöte (HWV 359", 363", 367", 374-376) und die vier für Blockflöte (HWV 360, 362, 365, 369) mit Basso-continuo-Begleitung, die unter Händeis Namen zu seinen Lebzeiten veröffentlicht wurden. Hinzu kommt die Flötensonate HWV 379, die zum ersten Mal 1879 in der ChrysanderAusgabe im Druck erschien (ChA, Bd. 27).
